1374937 Bags for foodstuff TOYO SEIKAN KAISHA Ltd 25 April 1973 19667/73 Heading A4D An hermetically sealed bag 1 for foodstuff comprises layers 2 of aluminium foil sealed together at the edges with heat resisting resin such as epoxy resin, silicon resin, urethane resin or alkyd resin. Each layer 2 may be a laminate of foils bonded with resin. Alternatively resin may be applied as inner and outer coatings to the aluminium foil. The bag has a slit 4 for the insertion of foodstuff, which is closed by a strip 8 of aluminium and nylon laminate which is sealed to the bag by heating the strip after the bag is filled.
