Abstract

979,538. Packages. WM. WRIGLEY Jr. CO. Aug. 21, 1963 [Feb. 18, 1963], No. 33048/63. Heading B8C. A package for two like stacks 13, 14 of prewrapped gum sticks 12 arranged side by side comprises an outer wrapper 15 formed of inner and outer layers 16, 17 joined by adhesive 18 and provided with a tear tape 24. The inner layer 16 is of metal foil, and the outer layer 17 of paper. The tape 24 is bonded to both layers 16 and 17, and extends into an end portion 25 of the wrapper dividing the stacks. The part 27 of the wrapper is sealed to the outside of the part 26.
