Abstract

1404792 Packages UNION CARBIDE CORP 28 Dec 1972 [29 Dec 1971] 59905/72 Heading B8C A package comprises a stack of packaging bags 13 mounted on a wicket 31, an inner carton element 49 on top of the stack with a tab 51 folded around a central portion 37 of the wicket, and an outer carton element 39 folded around the bags and inner carton element. Closure flaps 45 of the outer carton element may be secured by tapes. The bags may be made from tubular polyethylene. The bags and optionally also the inner element 48 may be mounted within a liner 57. A number of the packages may be mounted in a bulk carton which may have a tape or tear strip.
