Abstract
1319887 Double glazing ANTHONY'S MFG CO Inc 15 Nov 1971 [16 Nov 1970] 52895/71 Heading E1R [Also in Division F4] A panel comprises two panes 10, 12 defining a sealed space 17 which contains electric heating means 15 and is at a pressure other than ambient, and a sensor 33 responsive to change in the differential pressure to disconnect the heating means. The space may be normally above or below the outside pressure, and the current is disconnected when a pane is broken. The panes are of glass, one having a conductive coating 15 with electrodes affixed. The sensor 33 protrudes through metal spacer 16 and has apertures (34, 35) connecting the space to one side of a diaphragm (36). Sealant 60 and resilient strip 38 are provided.
