Abstract

1319378 Cup spinning machines ADRIANO GARDELLA SpA 7 May 1971 [8 May 1970] 13781/71 Heading DID A centrifugal cup spinning machine has a cup 1, vertically reciprocatable thread laying guide 2 and an axially stationary, rotatable, pre-twisting guide 3 mounted on a common support 4 which is mounted as a single unit in a spinning frame 5. The support 4 can be resiliently mounted in the frame 5 by means of a bayonet type fitting. The thread guide 2 can be vertically reciprocated by reciprocating carriage 13, and be resiliently connected thereto. The cup can be fitted with a packageejecting device 22-25. Ventilation holes 62, 63 in the cup can be provided to produce a downward draught in the pre-twisting guide 3 and the thread laying guide 2 to assist piecing up.
