975,042. Spinning-rings. T. M. M. (RE - SEARCH) Ltd. Nov. 1,1963 [Nov. 14,1962], No. 43132/62. Heading D1D. A spinning-ring is adjustably mounted in a rail or holder by a spring-plate 12 fixed to the rail &c. 11 and acting on a part 102 of the ring downwardly extending through a hole in the rail &c., so that the ring is pulled downwardly for a flange 101 to seat on the upper surface of the rail &c. The plate may be horseshoe-shaped with enlarged limbs secured by set-screws 14 to the rail &c., allowing the ring to be centred relatively to the spindle-axis. One of the screws may carry a traveller-clearer having a lug engaging a notch in the ring so that by rotating the ring the position of the clearer may be adjusted, (Fig. 2, not shown).
