Abstract
131,656. Flower, S. A., and Butt, E. E. W. July 10, 1918. Cars and cabins, suspending. The supporting- cables of the gondolas of air-ships are attached to levers pivoted about adjustable fulcra on the gondolas. Fig. 1 shows cables b<1> - - b4 hung from the main central boom D<1> of the air-ship and connected to the opposite ends of levers E<1>, E<2>, the fulcra K of which may be adjusted by worm and rack-and-pinion gear.
