Abstract

1316008 Fluid dispensing nozzles LJUNGMANS VERKSTADER A B 15 June 1971 [16 June 1970] 28071/71 Heading A4T [Also in Divisions B8 and F2] A fluid dispensing nozzle for filling a tank with petrol comprises a pressure controlling member 25 which compresses a bellows 42 when the nozzle is placed in the tank mouth, the pressure being conveyed to a chamber and diaphragm 28, 26 respectively whereby the handle 3 is able to actuate the valve member (20) Fig. 1 (not shown). When the dispensing nozzle is removed from the tank the pressure in chamber 28 falls so that the handle is not able to actuate the valve member (20). The dispensing nozzle is also equipped with an air suction passage 24 so that fluid reaching the level of the outlet 23 causes a collapsing of the diaphragm 17 and renders the handle inoperative. The bellows 25 may be fixedly mounted on the end of the dispensing pipe and actuated via a spring (50) Fig. 7 (not shown) or it may be sub-divided into three sections, Figs. 8-12 (not shown).
