Abstract

1331064 Suction cleaners PRODUKTIONSMATERIEL A B 13 Nov 1970 54154/70 Heading A4F [Also in Division F1] A nozzle assembly for a cleaning device which operates by suction or blowing has a pressure conduit 9 and an ejector passage 10 either of which may be connected to a source of pressurized fluid 4, the pressure conduit 9 discharging a stream of fluid from the nozzle mouth 23 whilst the ejector passage 10 creates suction in suction chamber 7 and at mouth 23. Compressed air flow from pipe 4 to pressure chamber 6 and tube 8 is controlled by valve arm 3; from pipe 8 the compressed air flows to conduit 9 or passage 10 depending on the position of valve member 12 which is controlled by a slidable permanent magnet 14. Alternatively an electromagnet may be used.
