Abstract

1314125 Apparatus for boiling liquids at controlled temperature TEXTILE TECHNOLOGY Inc 14 Aug 1971 [20 May 1971] 38122/71 Heading BIB [Also in Division D1] An apparatus used for controlling the temperature of a textile treating solution comprises a container 10 having a rotatable basket 11, the liquid mixture 12 in container 10 being circulated by pump 14 to a steam-heated heat exchanger 13 and returned to the container 10. Vapours of liquid mixture pass via outlet 15 to condenser 16 vented to the atmosphere at 17, the condensate passing via outlet 18 to two valves 19 and 20 having valve control 21 connected to temperature probe 22 in the container 10, the control being such that one valve of valves 19 and 20 is open, the other being shut. This enables the temperature of the liquid treating reagent to be controlled.
