Abstract

Folding boxes; tampering with, preventing and detecting; strengthening by corrugating.-A collapsible box made of corrugated cardboard comprises a tubular body portion A, B, C, D, Fig. 1, provided with flaps A<1>, A<2>, B<1>, B<2> adapted to be turned over the open ends of the box body. The box is completed by a corrugated cardboard strip E, Fig. 3, which engages beneath the flaps A<2>, B<2>, and has extensions E<4>, E<5>, which are folded over the flaps A<1>, B<1>, the meeting edges of the flaps A<1>, B<1> being secured together by one or more adhesive strips, which are secured also to the body portion of the box. The portion forming the sides C. D of the box has horizontal corrugations, the corrugations in the other parts of the box being vertical.
