227,016. Rogers, F. H., (Vortex Mfg. Co.). March 12, 1924. Specially - shaped boxes formed from special blanks. - A box or carton, particularly for holding folded paper caps, comprises two triangular sides 11, 12, Fig. 2, connected by two quadrilateral sides 13, 14 which are extended to form flaps 20 adapted to be folded under a third quadrilateral side 17 which is formed by an extension of one of the triangular sides and to which a closing flap 18 is attached. The box is made from the blank shown in Fig. 5, a pasting strip 15 being provided on the side 11 on the side 14 and an extension 16 may be provided. to close the lower end of the box. The triangular sides and the quadrilateral side 17 are bisected by folding lines 22 so that the box may be collapsed or folded flat. The box may be of greater thickness at the top than at the bottom.
