In the examples, hydroxylamine hydrochloride is added to rubber latex concentrate preserved with ammonia, or ammonia and sodium pentachlorphenate and the concentrate is then (a) compounded with vulcanizing agents and cast to form a film which is vulcanized or (b) compounded, with or without butadiene-styrene rubber and/or whiting, with vulcanizing agents, potassium oleate and sodium silicofluoride, foamed and vulcanized in moulds.
