1306447 Multi fuel turners HYGROTHERM ENG Ltd 18 June 1971 [24 July 1970] 35955/70 Heading F4T In a multi-fuel forced or induced-draught burner which may be used in an incinerator for burning noxious gases a central pressure-jet steam or air atomized oil burner 10 is surrounded by a plurality of gas burners 11 each comprising a gas jet 13 placed inside a refractory venturishaped nozzle 14 through which air is supplied to the fuel, either gas or oil, being burned. Louvres (not shown) are placed in a box 12, one side of which contains the burner 10 and burners 11, to control the volume of air supplied to the burner. A gas fired pilot light 15 is also fitted.
