130,163. Bloxam, A. G., (Ericsson & Co., L. M.). July 26, 1918. Variable - speed friction gearing. - Motion is transmitted between a shaft 1 and a shaft 6 by a sphere 3 which bears on the disk 2 on the shaft 1 and on a roller 4 on the shaft 6. The sphere is kept in contact by a spring-pressed roller 5 in a frame 12 pivoted at 13, and is adjustable radially across the disk 2 by a, fork 17.
