Abstract

1301060 Dual fuel engines INDUSTRIAL PROPANE Inc 19 April 1971 [14 Sept 1970] 26960/71 Heading F1B A booster for use with a Diesel engine comprises means 24 connectible to a source of vaporized liquid propane for providing gas at a constant vapour pressure, means 12 receiving the constant vapour pressure propane gas for regulating the volume flow of the propane gas in direct proposition to the fuel consumption of the Diesel engine and means 2 for injecting the volume regulated propane gas into the air intake manifold 3 of the Diesel engine. A clamp 42 is connected to the Diesel fuel pump linkage (not shown) and mechanically couples this linkage to the metering valve 12.
