Abstract

129,895. Ferguson, G. C. Nov. 5, 1918. Clinometers. - A lateral clinometer for use on aircraft comprises a pendulum member A pivoted on an horizontal axis in a casing E and carrying a pendulum member C pivoted on a vertical axis on the member A. The member C has an extension N engaging with a slotted arm H carried by a counter-balanced member B which is pivoted on an horizontal axis on the member A. The member B carries a pointer D which indicates, in conjunction with a dial F, the lateral inclination of the aircraft.
