1293444 Epoxy resins DEUTSCHE TEXACO AG 16 July 1970 34593/70 Heading C3B A composition comprises a mixture consisting of 10-90% by wt. of one or more N,N<SP>1</SP>- diglycidyl - N,N<SP>1</SP> - dialkyl - 1,3 - diamino - 2- hydroxypropanes (I) and 9-10% by wt. of one or more N-diglycidylalkylamines (II). The alkyl groups in I and II may contain up to 6 carbon atoms, especially isopropyl groups. I and II may be present in approximately equal proportions by wt. The compositions may include an epoxy resin of lower reactivity, e.g. a diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A. The compositions may be cured using a dicarboxylic anhydride, e.g. one which is liquid at 20‹ C. The compositions may additionally comprise an alkyd resin and/or conventional solvents or fillers.
