1291343 Burning pulverulent fuel; returning fuel residues COAL INDUSTRY (PATENTS) Ltd 20 April 1971 [24 April 1970] 19873/70 Heading F4B Pulverulent fuel is burnt in a fluidized bed in a chamber 1, fly ash and gases are fed to a cyclone furnace 8 mounted in the top of the chamber and unburnt particles are returned to the fluidized bed through a conduit 11 by an ejector 12. The ejector 12 prevents blockage of the conduit 11 or malfunction due to excess pressure immediately above the fluidized bed. The cyclone furnace may be mounted outside the fluidized bed chamber.
