Abstract

RAION YUSHI KK 16 Dec 1969 [17 Dec 1968 28 Dec 1968] 61285/69 Heading B5N A synthetic resin corrugated board comprises a corrugated sheet, a first flat sheet bonded or adhered to one side of the corrugated sheet and, optionally, a second flat sheet bonded to the other side of the corrugated sheet, each of the sheets comprising a polyolefin synthetic resin and 50-90% by weight of the sheet on a dry basis of gypsum and/or calcium sulphite. One or more of the sheets may also comprise 1-3% by weight of an acrylonitrilebutadienestyrene orethylene-propylene rubber. The first flat sheet may be fixedly applied to the corrugated sheet by heating and welding or by means of an adhesive and the second flat sheet bonded to the corrugated sheet by means of an adhesive applied to the vertex portions of the second side surface of the corrugated sheet. In Fig. 1 sheet C supplied from reel 1 is corrugated by means of rolls 4a and 4b, welded to sheets F1 supplied from roll 2 by means of heating roller 4c, coated with hot melt adhesive 9 held in chamber 56 from where it is fed to - heated roller 5a and pressed against sheet F2 supplied from roll 3 by means of rollers 6a and 6b.
