Abstract
1288830 Discharging powder from hoppers H IWAKO 2 Nov 1970 [7 Nov 1969] 52024/70 Heading B8S Material in an upper chamber 1 is agitated by rotating arms 11 and falls through holes 4 in a partition 2 into a lower chamber 3 from which it is discharged by a vaned stirrer 12 and a rotary disc 13. The latter has a flanged portion 13a which forms an annular chamber with the wall 5. Material falls into this chamber and is scraped therefrom by a plate 17 for discharge down a pipe 7. Fixed blades 15, attached to the wall 5, level the material.
