Circular-flow type; reversing; motor power plant.-A reversible circular-flow turbine having a number of concentric stages comprises a onepiece rotor c formed with concentric rings of budgets d<1>, d<2>, d<3> located between two casing parts a, b having recesses o<1>, o<2>, 0<o>. The rotor c and casing members a, b are formed as shown in Fig. 3, one side being used for forward working and the other for reverse working. Motive fluid is admitted by inlets g to and round the innermost ring of buckets d' and recesses o<1>, and passes to the outer rings successively. The turbine may be used as a silencer and an auxiliary motor on motor-cars by discharging the exhaust gases therethrough. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also the non-reversible modification shown in Fig. 3 (Cancelled). This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
