Abstract

128,551. Landini, A. June 17, 1918, [Convention date]. Frame components, applying and combining.- A light car comprises curved longitudinal members arranged beneath the level of the wheel axles and connected by cross members which support a sheet-metal body, the side steps, on one of which the motor is mounted, and the control gear. The longitudinal members 1 have upwardly turned ends to which the springs 14 are attached, the other ends of the springs being connected to uprights 10 carried by the cross members 2, 2<1>. Cross members 3, 3<1> carry the side steps and the engine which drives one rear wheel by chain gearing. The member 3<1> also carries the brake lever 6. The body is of sheet metal and may be extended forwardly to provide additional seating accommodation.
