Abstract

1283789 Electromagnetic flowmeters SIEMENS A G 15 Oct 1970 [15 Oct 1969] 49150/70 Heading G1N [Also in Division G6] In an electromagnetic flowmeter, e.g. for use in a nuclear reactor, the magnetic field is provided by permanent magnet means 53 e.g. of tubular form or consisting of two halves or two plates, embedded in a member 52 adapted to be removably fitted in a duct 31 provided between two plates 3 of a grid supporting the fuel elements 5. Bores 54 are provided in the member 52, so that electrodes 33 may contact the fluid. Pins 32 may be used for positioning the member 52.
