Abstract

1362731 Counting apparatus; fuelling reactors HOCHTEMPERATUR - KERNKRAFTWERK GmbH 14 Jan 1972 [21 Jan 1971] 1936/72 Headings G4D and G6C Electrically conductive bodies travelling along a tube 9 produce count pulses in a coil 2 on a magnetic yoke 3 removably attached to the outer ends of magnetizable pins 7, 8 sealed in the wall of the tube. The yoke may be a laminated iron pack with an exciting coil or a permanent magnet. The bodies counted may, for example, be the spherical fuel elements of a gas-cooled, high-temperature nuclear reactor. Such fuel elements consist mainly of graphite.
