Abstract
1,253,967. Induction flowmeters. PLESSEY CO. Ltd. Dec.20, 1968 [Dec.30, 1967], No. 59278/67. Heading G1N. In an electromagnet flowmeter, two pairs of electrodes G, H and G<SP>1</SP>, H<SP>1</SP> connected by bars 3, 4 are respectively arranged at the opposite surfaces of a streamlined body 1 in order that voltage generated by the liquid flow due to displacement of the electrodes is eliminated. The A.C. magnetic field is produced by a winding 2, and the voltage induced at the electrodes is measured from leads P, Q of a coaxial cable 5 lying in the axis of the body 1.
