Tyres, facilitating detachment of. - Relates to the hub axles of motor and other cycles, wherein, for facilitating the removal of the back tyre or inner tube, a sleeve bolt 1, internally screw-threaded to engage with the axle end 9, has the sleeve portion thereof adapted to pass through the usual slot or opening 4 in the rear-wheel lower stay and to enter a plain collar 7 positioned between the stav and the outer end of the hub. According to the invention, that part of the collar about the end of the axle is formed with an opening or slot 8<1> large enough to clear the axle end in such a way that, on removal of the sleeve bolt, the collar may be removed without lateral movement or springing or forcing out the stay.
