Detaching from, and attaching to, permanent hubs.-The centre 4 of the wheel is formed on its inner face with a spiral rib 5 preferably of trapezoidal section, which is adapted to engage a spiral groove of similar shape on the flange 2 of the hub 1. The wheel is secured in position by a nut 7 and lock nut 9 which screws on to the end of the hub and the end of the nut 7 and also serves as an axle cap.
