[Class 144 (i).] The two-part ring g by which the wheel-hub is secured on the axle by engagement with a groove d<4> in the axle-arm is formed with splayed tongues g<2> so as to be resilient at the part engaging the groove. The ring may be formed in laminations, and with projecting portions g<7> at the joints to produce a locking effect on the cap e.
