1281220 Knitted fabrics LE TEXTILE DELCER 10 Oct 1969 [11 Oct 1968] 49979/69 Heading D1K A knitted fabric comprises a knitted ground fabric made from continuous thermoplastic synthetic yarns 1 which form wales interconnected by the yarns which form the wales and stable straight fibre yarns 2, 3 disposed between the wales the number of wales/cm of the finished fabric length being between 20 and 35, the ratio between the yarn counts of the synthetic and staple fibre yarns being between 3 and 7 wherein one of the surfaces of the finished fabric has the appearance of a woven fabric, predominantly all the staple fibre yarns appearing therein while the other surface has the appearance of a lining and is formed predominantly by the interlacing of the continuous yarn loops or stitches.
