Abstract

1,224,692. Knitting. FARBWERKE HOECHST A.G. 26 March, 1969 [26 March, 1968], No. 15863/69. Heading D1K; A warp knitted product having a bouclÚ type surface on the purl side has the loops forming the bouclÚ type surface formed from a textured yarn of filaments of a synthetic .linear high polymer whereby the thickness of the textured yarn. is from 180 to 1200 denier and the individual filaments of the textured yarn are from 10 to 30 denier. The textured yarn may be a polyamide, a polyester, a polyacrylonitrile or a polyolyfin. Alternatively it may be polyethyleneterephthalate, polyethylene, polypropylene, or poly-e-caprolactum. The base fabric may be knitted from yarns in which the filaments .are made of a synthetic linear high polymer which may be any one of those used for producing the yarn for the bouclÚ type surface.
