1280518 Reciprocating pumps VSESOJUZNY NAUCHNO-ISSIEDOVATELSKY KONSTRUKTORSKY I TEKHNOLOGICHESKY INSTITUT GIDROMASHINOSTROENIA 8 Oct 1969 49468/69 Heading F1A The stroke of a hydraulically-actuated pump 1 is controlled by a sleeve valve 9 controlling spill ports 10 in the actuating piston 64, the position of sleeve valve 9 being adjusted by first and second adjusters 2 and 8, one of which determines a range of adjustment within which the other can adjust the stroke. Sleeve valve 9 is connected to rod 6 which bears against surface 11 of a lever 4 pivoted at 7 on a member 16 which is vertically adjustable by adjuster 2. A curved surface 14 of lever 4 is engaged by a plate 12 which is horizontally adjustable by adjuster 8. The angle between the adjuster axes may be other than a right angle. Alternative arrangements are described for varying the distance of pivot 7 from rod 6, and for varying the inclination of lever 4, Figs. 2 to 8 (not shown). In Fig.9 (not shown), rod 6 is remote-controlled by the adjuster assembly. In Figs. 10 to 13 (not shown), the adjuster assemblies of two or more pumps are synchronized to provide the same outputs, or outputs of predetermined ratios.
