1280382 Fluid bearings CONSTANTIN RAUCH 30 Sept 1970 [17 Oct 1969] 46611/70 Heading F2A [Also in Division F1] In an axial piston pump (see Division F1), a rotating drive flange 20 is supported against bearing surface 27 on member 13 by a fluid bearing formed by recesses 18 supplied with liquid under pressure from the pump working chambers, the sloping walls of the chambers subtending acute angles with surface 27 to provide hydrodynamic action.
