Abstract
1299123 Vehicle hydraulic transmission ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 15 Jan 1970 [15 Jan 1969] 1940/70 Heading B7H [Also in Division F1] A vehicle hydrostatic transmission, generally similar to that described in Specification 1,288,508, has at least one hydraulic axial piston motor 11, the displacement volume of which is reduced to zero by pushing its pistons 38 inwards to their inner dead centre position where they are retained by frictional forces resulting from centrifugal forces on the pistons. When the motor 11 is operating, the pistons 38 abut against swash plate 2. When the supply of pressure medium is interrupted by a three position valve 7 in its mid-position B, the pistons 38 are successively pushed into the bores 32 by the swash plate upon rotation of shaft 26, surplus pressure medium flowing away through a line 13 to a reservoir 5.
