Abstract

1280347 Cabinets WILHELM WELLER MOBELFABRIK 16 July 1969 35910/69 Heading A4B [Also in Division E2] A cabinet comprises corner uprights 1 defining channels which open towards each other to receive opposed edges of a side panel 5, each upright 1 comprising inner and outer, U-section rails 11, 12 nested one within the other, the inner 11 of the rails being formed in at least the inner of its side walls with a series of spaced notches 3 which receive the ends of a shelf support rail 4. The rails 11, 12 having interengaging longitudinal flutes 14, 13. The outer rail 12 has a longitudinal dovetail groove 9 which receives a correspondingly shaped edge of a slot 10 which engages in an edge of a back panel 6. Upper and lower frame members 15, 16 are screwed to angle brackets 17 having one limb clamped between the side panel 5 and a side of the outer rail 12 beyond the ends of the inner rail 11. The angle brackets 17 carry adjustable feet 18. The shelf support rail 4 has a lateral dovetail projection 19 which resiliently clamps in a groove 20 in an edge of a shelf 8. Cabinet partitions may be fitted to intermediate uprights in a manner similar to the fitting of the side panels 5. Hinge fittings for doors may be fitted to the rails 11, 12 Figs.6,6A (not shown).
