Cylinders receiving liquid fuel. -The fuel valve is counterbalanced by oil pressure acting on the end of the part 1 of the valve, the valve being made in three parts 1, 2, 3. The valves are made a sufficiently accurate fit in their guides by grinding to avoid stuffing- boxes. Drains D, D<2> for leakage are provided. T h e valve is opened by a lever R and closed by a spring S. Specification 1770/14 is referred to.
