Abstract

1,271,948. Chimney and like flashings. OSMA PLASTICS Ltd. 24 June, 1969 [16 Aug., 1968] No. 39380/68. Heading F4J. A pipe projecting through a sloping roof is sealed thereto by an element of elastomeric material, e.g. neoprene comprising an apertured plate 2 integral with an angled wall 3 and a sleeve 4, the latter being formed with ribs 5 for gripping the pipe. The element is designed for a roof of average pitch, viz. 26 degrees, but roofs with a pitch range of 19-35 degrees can be accommodated by the flexure points 8, 9 and 10.
