A ventilating flashing assembly for use between a roof and an adjoining wall comprises an elongate hollow section member 2 embedded in the wall 5 and which is provided with ventilating ducting 6 internally and/or externally, flashing 4 is secured inside the hollow section. The ducting may be box section or of castellated form. An extension 11 may be provided in the ducting 6.
