Abstract

1,080,837. Chimney and like flashings. OSMA PLASTICS Ltd. Oct. 5, 1965 [July 14, 1964], No. 28913/64. Heading F4J. A pipe projecting through a sloping roof is sealed thereto by an apertured plate 1, preferably of reinforced synthetic rubber or plastics, integral with or adhered to a sleeve 3, the sleeve having an internal flange 4 for gripping the pipe and a bellows 6 allowing it to suit different roof angles. The plate 1 may be reinforced by embedded wire mesh 7 or by stiffening elements 8.
