A branch coupling of plastics or the like resilient material and for use in connection with a drain pipe 4 consists of an elongated saddleshaped member 1 for mounting on the pipe and having resilient limbs 2 for engaging the pipe, a coupling sleeve 5 for a branch pipe externally of the sleeve, and at least one projection 6 for engaging the opening 7 in the pipe 4. As shown, the sleeve 5 is of flattened, funnel shape and allows inclination of the branch pipe with respect to the pipe 4. The projection 6 may be an extension of the sleeve 5, or comprise one or more peripherally spaced extended portions or pins on the sleeve.
