Abstract

1,271,851. Water heaters. JUNKERS & CO. G.m.b.H. 18 July, 1969 [26 April, 1969], No. 36308/69. Heading F4A. The front shell 15 of a gas fired water heater is connected to its back wall 10 by a leaf-spring clip 19 which is secured at one end to a regulating device 11 itself secured to the back wall 10, and its free end engages in a recess 21 on the bottom edge of the front shell 15, the latter having no flanges at its top and bottom edges. When the front shell 15 is hung on to hooks 17 which pass through recesses 16 in the front shell, a lug 194 snaps into an opening at the top of the recess 21 by exerting an upward force on the clip 19. The heater has a temperature selector knob 12 and a gas valve control 14.
