Abstract

1,271,515. Cardboard structures. FORDS OF BRISTOL Ltd. 16 Aug., 1969 [15 Aug., 1968], No. 39117/68. Heading A6S. Cardboard or like semi-rigid sheet structures are made from a set comprising a plurality of blanks, the set including wall element blanks 1, 13, 20 having vertical slits 9, 11, 15, 24 each extending into the blanks from one edge so that the blanks may be interlocked one with the other by engagement of corresponding slits, one or more of said wall elements 1 being adapted to be formed into a tubular enclosure which by means of said slits 9, 11 is adapted to interlock with at least one wall element blank so that a free edge or hinged corner of that blank, e.g. blank 13, lies within said tubular enclosure. The set of blanks further comprising a roof element 5 which interlocks with two or more walls of the enclosure. The roof element e.g. 5 may be hinged to a wall element. Further roof elements R may be provided, these suitably interlocking with the wall elements by means of engagement of corresponding castellations 14, 29.
