Abstract

1,262,798. Garment racks. W.A.C.M. DE JONG-LAUMANS. June 23, 1970 [June 23, 1969], No.30509/70. Heading A4U. A hanger, for suspending a wash glove to dry, comprises a support arm 13 having an end fitted in a hole 16 in a block or base 11 which is secured to a wall, e.g. by screws, the angle a being between 45 and 75 degrees and the width of the arm being at least 14 mm so that the sides of the glove hang is spaced vertical planes to promote drying. A drip point 18 spaced below the rod and away from the wall is provided. In modifications the fitted end of the arm has extensions engaging undercuts in the base and is inserted from the rear of the base, more than one arm is provided on a base and may be integrally formed therewith of plastics or metal alloy. The rods may be of cruciform cross-section with interrupted Patsal flanges, or of inverted U- section. In further modifications, bent up from wire, the base includes a suspensory ring or a hook for fitting over the top edge of a mirror.
