Abstract

1,261,172. Reciprocating motors. INSTITUT GORNOGO DELA IMENI A.A. SKOCHINSKOGO. Jan.20, 1970, No.2594/70. Heading F1A. In a multi-cylinder, inwardly-acting radial piston motor in which the pistons act through rollers on a cam surface, the cam surface is formed by two or more arcuately backed cam track portions fitted tightly together, the adjoining surfaces being inclined to the longitudinal axis of the motor. As described, the motor comprises two banks of pistons each piston having a roller running on a cam track common to both piston banks.
