Abstract

1368744 Reciprocating pumps and motors HYDRO-MITE Ltd 3 Dec 1971 [5 Dec 1970] 57878/70 Heading F1A [Also in Division F2] A bearing for a radial piston hydraulic machine comprises a slipper 1 having a part cylindrical bearing surface which engages with the internal cylindrical bearing surface of a bearing ring surrounding the pistons, the arrangement being such that there is a clearance between the ring and the central portion of the surface of the slipper. The clearance may be provided by forming the slipper with a radius of curvature greater than that of the ring. Each slipper is generally rectangular in profile, and has a central oil port 4 and annular oil grooves 5 and 6 in the surface of the slipper.
