Abstract

1,253,950. Thermal switches. WAGNER ELECTRIC CORP. 27 May, 1970 [23 June, 1969], No. 25373/70. Heading H1N. A thermal relay has two bimetal blades 2, 4 mounted upon two terminals 6, 8 passing through a mounting panel 10, the free ends of the blades carrying co-operating contacts 18, 20, and a heating element 12 associated with one bimetal and connected to further terminals 14, 16. The blades are slotted to increase their surface area. A further heater may be mounted on the second bimetal.
