1,133,614. Thermal switches. CHILTON ELECTRIC PRODUCTS Ltd. 29 Nov., 1965 [6 Nov., 1964; 3 Dec., 1964], Nos. 45372/64 and 49263/64. Heading H1N. A switch, suitable for detecting temperature rise in a motor, comprises a partly metallic capsule 12 enclosing a thermal element 19, e.g. a bimetal, carrying a pair of contacts 21, 22 which co-operate with fixed contacts 13, 14, the element 19 being located between support members 17, 18. As shown, the element 19 is loose between members 17, 18, but may be rigidly gripped therebetween (Fig. 4, not shown).
