Abstract

1,253,773. Stone filling composition. DYKERHOFF ZEMENTWERKE A.G. 4 March, 1970 [14 March, 1969; 26 Aug., 1969], No. 10487/70. Heading C1H. Imperfections in the surface of material, stone or concrete are filled in with a composition comprising 60 to 80% wt. of Portland cement, 40 to 20% wt. aluminous cement, and 0À2 to 1À2% alkali metal carbonate. The surface to be treated is wetted, sprinkled with filling composition and rubbed in. Fine grinding is done within 10 to 15 minutes. The Portland cement has an SO 3 content of 2À0 to 3À5% wt. and a line saturation factor of over 92 and may contain 0À025 to 0À4% wt. of a cellulose ether or ester. The treatment may be carried out after sawing or rough grinding of the stone or concrete.
