Drawing-desks. - In a drawing table or desk having the top carried by parallelogram links as described in the parent Specification, the counterweighted link 7 is held in adjustment by a friction device acting on a sector 9 fixed to this link con. centric with its pivot 2. The sector 9 is frictionally held between two shoes 16, 17 by the action of a spring 15 situated between the friction shoe 16 and a screw-cap 14 adjustable on a fixed sleeve 10. A clamping-screw 18 is provided to hold the parts more rigidly in adjusted position when desired.
