A stowable series of 'tween decks d 1 -d 5 is mounted between and movable along upwardly extending mutually spaced side-by-side guides g between a stowed position D in which the decks are substantially vertical and stacked side-by-side and an in-use position in which they are substantially horizontal and vertically spaced one above the other. Each deck is held in its in-use position and in the embodiment shown each is held in position by retractable supporting legs S and by a releasable locking arrangement between the deck and its guides. As shown a bottom 'tween deck d 6 is pivotable but has no guides.
